Premier League Round-up

This weekend turned a new way in the title race. Liverpool slipped up against West Ham, as they drew 2-2 with goals from Lallana and Origi. Leaving them six points behind the leaders, Chelsea, who won 1-0 against West Brom. Arsenal, who stayed three points behind Chelsea with their 3-1 win over Stoke, where Iwobi, Ozil and Walcott were the goal scorers in that game. City, who at the start of the season were backed by many people to win the league, (not me) However their 4-2 loss to Leicester, put them seven points off top spot. It also gave Leicester a big boost in their unexpected relegation fight.

Manchester United got an important win against their top four rivals, Spurs. Mkhitaryan scored his first United goal in the Premier League, before half time to win the game. Jose Mourinho was finally happy with the result, as he had complained over the past few weeks, saying that their performance didn’t reflect on the result.

Moving from the top, Swansea won an important relegation battle as they beat Sunderland 3-0 to go ahead of Hull in the league. Palace drew at Hull after a late equaliser from Fraizer Campbell. Everton who haven’t won in five games, lost to Watford 3-2 with Koeman getting a bit of stick from his fans.

  1. I think Arsenal can win the Premier League Title if they try hard, but they need to convince Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez to renew their contracts if they want to win the premier league title.
